Snow Jumpers

Snow Jumpers is a fast-paced extension of Blizzard’s End, our immersive world, inspired by a winter tradition where factions gather to race, clash, and compete for control of the crystal center, all brought to life through crafting, miniatures, and shared play.

Snow Jumpers

Snow Jumpers came out of a big lesson for us. Our earlier holiday games were imaginative and immersive, but they were also long and hard to play smoothly. So this time, we focused on one thing first: make it fast, intuitive, and fun. The result was a competitive winter game where factions race, block, and battle for control of the crystal center in quick, high-energy rounds.

Project Snapshot

What it is
A hybrid tabletop game where physical minis and board play connect to an iPad-based scoring system.
Why we made it
We wanted to build something the kids would want to play again immediately: faster, clearer, and more replayable than our earlier large-scale holiday games.
How it works
Players control winter factions, use action and chaos cards, and fight for control of the crystal center while tracked pieces score points over time.
What makes it special
Hidden RFID tags under the minis let the physical board interact with digital scoring, blending handcrafted play with responsive tech.

Why this project matters to us

Snow Jumpers is where our process really clicked. It kept the heart and handmade charm of our family projects, but it also showed us how strong an idea becomes when we prototype for clarity, speed, and joy first.

One of our favorite things about Snow Jumpers is knocking the pieces off the central gems. It's a ton of fun!
